Finding a counselor can be stressful. We feel that the relationship between therapist and client is the most important part of therapy. Therefore, we offer a free 15 minute phone call to discuss your needs and expectations. We will offer referrals when necessary.
We use Strength-based Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Strength-based Therapy does two things; it builds upon your existing strengths (things you already know you are good at) and assists in discovering new strengths (things you didn’t know you were capable of). Using our strengths in daily life helps us transform into confident, motivated individuals. CBT is a proven technique of re-training the way you think about yourself and the world around you. Using both of these techniques, we feel confident you will find our office to be a safe and confidential place to create change in your life.
We can help you find the strength to change old patterns of behavior and start a new chapter in your life. We will encourage and challenge you to broaden your outlook and find happiness within yourself.
Additionally, we provide psychological/behavioral health evaluations required by insurance (bariatric, gender confirming and pain management) as well as substance use evaluations requested by the courts or attorneys
